You were very alert and had a head of hair.

We love to cuddle with you in our arms and hold you tight,
You would sit there nicely and didn’t fight.
You’re 2 months old
You’re more alert and seeing further,
You’re starting to kick and do not want to be bothered.
You’re 3 months old
You love it when we sing songs to you,
And play peek a boo.
It’s amazing how fast you are growing,
And how much you are cooing.
You’re 4 months old
You are reaching more and more milestones each day,
You are smiling more and like to play.
You’re 5 months old
We like to take you outside to see new faces,
And introduce you to people, things, and places.
You’re 6 months old
You are sitting on your own,
You are playing with your toys and like to be alone.
You’re 7 months old
You are becoming Mr. Independent,
You are starting to crawl and get in the cabinets,
“I hope that doesn’t become a habit”.
You’re 8 months old
You are getting heavier to hold,
“Put that baby down!” I am being told.
You’re 9 months old
You are learning to stand,
“You need to start walking and that is a demand!”
You’re 10 months old
You love to give/get hugs and kisses,
Just watch yourself and do not give them to the misses!
You’re 11 months old
Your daddy and I love you very much,
We can’t believe you’re our son,
You have made it so much fun.
You’re 12 months old
You smile all day, everyday,
I couldn’t ask for a better baby,
I got my wish I would have to say.
